Postdoctoral fellows

  • No funded positions are available at this time but recipients of external funding (e.g., NSERC PDF) are welcome to contact us about possible positions.
  • Individuals who will be applying for NSERC PDF funds are welcome to contact Dr. Adamowicz about the possibility of supporting their application. The external application deadline is usually in mid-October, but check with your current institution about internal deadlines.

PhD students

  • No funded positions are available at this time but recipients of external funding (e.g., NSERC PGS, OGS) are welcome to contact us about possible positions.
  • Canadian graduate students with strong academic records who wish to apply for NSERC PGS and/or OGS funds are welcome to contact Dr. Adamowicz about the possibility of supporting their application(s). The external deadline for both NSERC and OGS is usually in mid-November, but check with your current institution for internal deadlines (probably mid-October). Note that you should apply for these scholarships in the year before you wish to begin your Ph.D. research.

MSc students

  • Dr. Adamowicz is currently looking for a highly motivated M.Sc. student.  Recipients of external funding (e.g., NSERC PGS, OGS) are also welcome to contact us about possible positions.
  • Canadian upper-year undergraduate students with strong academic records who wish to apply for NSERC PGS and/or OGS funds are welcome to contact Dr. Adamowicz about the possibility of supporting their application(s).   • University of Guelph students interested in carrying out honours thesis projects in Integrative Biology (IBIO*4500, IBIO*4510, IBIO*4521/4522) or Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG*4500/4510) should contact Dr. Adamowicz.
  • A URA position may be available for summer 2010.
  • Work study positions may be available.
